Devil Masami And Jaguar Yokota vs The crush girls fuji tag league 9/26/84

Chigusa starts off with a missed spinning high kick that forces Yokota into the ropes leading to an Irish whip that leads to a missed punch that Jaguar rolls under. The first control segment of the first fall is on The lioness's leg which is short but leads into a tag from chigusa that leads to the vets going after Chigusa's back and abs. The thing i notice about this segment is the copious use of devil's size and power moves. Asuka tags in misses a dropkick and gets irish whipped by the devil with asuka altering her angle to run into Jaguar on the apron knocking her to ringside. The devil misses her attack and gets lifted by Asuka into a back suplex position with Chigusa capitalizing via back elbow off the top combing with Asuka dropping the devil. they continue with stereo spinning body kicks into a giant swing by Asuka leading into a back superplex for the pin in fall 1. The second fall begins with a flurry of kicks from Asuka onto the dazed devil's head following up with two piledriver's the second of which is a spike piledriver. Chigusa gets tagged in after the referee refuse to count on the spike piledriver presumably because it was off of a double team move. The devil reverses an Irish whip from Chigusa into a punch leading to a tag into Yokota. Yokota capitalizes with a dropkick vertical suplex slam tombstone combo ending in a two count. Chigusa hits a surprise front suplex for a two followed by keeping Jaguar in position for a top rope clothesline. Asuka throws Jaguar through the ropes to ringside and follows hoping to setup a tope for Chigusa. Yokota moves out of the way and Devil Masami uses her partner to execute an awesome gorilla press plancha. She gets the win for her team via sitout powerbomb. there's a bit of matwork from Asuka to start the third fall but injured parties make pretty quick tags. Chigusa targets the Jaguar's back and Asuka follows up with a giant swing. Chigusa eventually gets caught in the corner and gets got with a facebuster sort of deal and a super double underhook for the veterans to get the win. loved this. rating 9.5/10

 It's odd how at least for my fandoms 2025 feels like a dark mirror of 2016-17 or maybe oddly darker given how dark the first administration already was. First administration... I'll stop before this becomes ranting about the triplet sins of wealth racism and ableism. Jaguar Yokota vs La galactica 2/27/85 wwwa title match and disk 7 retrospective

 we start off this bout with a sneak attack by Galactica which responds to with appropriate ferocity. Jaguar wins the strike exchanges and eventually gets Galactica to ringside via an over-the-top back body drop. this back body drop ends up being a mistake because by going to ringside Jaguar opens herself up to shenanigans. Big thing strategically is this the first impact on the arm early in this match and as Jaguar prepares herself to reenter the ring we see her shaking her arm out. Interestingly Galactica is seemingly of two minds cause she vacillates a little between working the arm as a means to gain a foothold and using it as her primary target. the deciding factor is that when given the opportunity Jaguar can still win head to head exchanges at this point there's copious use of nunchucks alongside two instances of smashing the shoulder into the ringpost and attacking the shoulder while the arm is wrapped around the top rope causing it to bleed. Bulll Nakano vs yamazaki Itsuki Ajw title match

 Bull tries to start out with a sneak attack in typical fashion but it backfires leading to an initial burst of explosive offense from Yamazaki. It turns pretty quickly into an extended face in peril sequence with a really good level of viciousness and some lucha tendencies with the biting as a heel. I do think i'm rediscovering what i liked about Yamazaki prior to this disk via this match. she has a short comeback that's cut off quickly when she messes up her knee in a dive. The beatdown continues leading to a dq win for Yamazaki after which she gives up the title with the stated focus of targeting the tag titles. I really enjoy the way Yamazaki plays the canny clever more agile technician even if that word is so vague it's kinda useless though i don't think of any AJW wrestler as a submission specialist I do like the way she works holds. Really impressive from both workers. 8/10
