pre first tartarus run updated character thoughts

 We're still so early with the main sees members in terms of depth that there's not much of great substance to report aside from that they are growing on me more and more with even the dorm interactions. Now on to the new addition and that is our first individual social link in Kenji amiable and fun in the interactions we have with him at school and I find his fascination with a singular ramen shop really endearing. On the other hand I find the way he talks about approaching women off putting though not super unexpected. Remembers him mentioning an older woman on the first day we entered school presumably a teacher... please let me be wrong and we can avoid a hot for teacher scenario. At the very least I need his delusion to be shattered by the end if I must suffer through it. verdict at this point on kenji is love hate at least if i'm right. One point of mechanical frustration with the game the lack of control over speed of movement with a keyboard makes the overworld of Tartarus more frustrating than it should be

Crush Girls vs Dump Matsumoto and Bull Nakano Tag league the best Final

 We start off with the Alliance in identical prematch outfits starting the match with a massive attack on the crush girls and a body double for Dump which is such a fun touch. The first fall is defined by the alliance taking advantage of the lead given by the sneak attack to focus on targeting Chigusa's injured knee. The alliance is eventually disqualified for excessive use of illegal tactics giving the crush girls the first fall. It's readily apparent that the alliance don't give a fuck because they're confident the damage they inflicted will be telling enough to win them the war. The second fall is an odd one cause it's so short due to a surprise knockout of Lioness Asuka via doomsday device which rocks. Prior to the finish you get what you'd expect Chigusa trying to get back into the action while trying to protect her leg and Asuka being a house of fire. Hisako Uno & Yumiko Hotta vs. Kazue Nagahori & Yumi Ogura (WWWA Tag Team Titles) 4/27/87

First defense for Uno and Hotta as far as what we have on the set. The challengers start off hot with jumping spin kicks to the back leading to multiple irish whips into the rails at ringside. The body of the first fall is mostly based around the challenger's targeting Uno's previously bad knee viciously. The champions counter mostly via Hotta's size. The finish comes via top rope tombstone. The second fall is a great mirror of the first with the champion's establishing a foothold with Hotta's strikes and eventually begin targeting Ogura's leg. The finish comes via top rope gutbuster. The third fall  breaks down quickly. If there is a throughline it's the challengers isolating hotta and eventually piling on enough damage for the win. Really fun interesting how the internal dynamics for Ogura and Nagahori have shifted especially in that first fall feels like Ogura's trying to find herself a bit. 7.9/10

Kanako Nagatomo & Mika Komatsu vs Nagahori & Ogura 6/17/86 AJW title match

 This is really interesting specifically for the team of Nagahori and Ogura as iirc this is the first match on the set for their team against their peers as opposed to the vets. The dynamics are fascinating. The challengers attack at the belland the early section of the match is defined by leverage vs quickness and the individual brilliance of the champions. The challengers take advantage by targeting Ogura's leg and they do a damn good vicious job of it and refreshingly both sides do a really good job of actually isolating the weakened members of the opposition. The comeback comes via double team and stereo missile dropkicks with one of them aggravating the injured knee eventually the challengers get the win after an extended back and forth. 7.8/10 the thing that stops this from being an 8 is some confusing selling of the knee in terms of who was hurt earlier but that may be on me confusing the champions cause of the outfits being almost identitcal
